The blossoms on that tree I showed you yesterday...cascading down, reminded me of weeping willows
...and then I remembered these glass panels I made a few year ago...

...today I would like to share with you some details from these acid-etched weeping willow patterns I cut into deep green and blue layers of flashed antique glass... the acid cuts its way right through from the dark surface layer of deep green glass to reveal the bright yellow-green below...taking several hours of painstaking work... but the light shining through is really beautiful :)
